Dr. Tammara Moore, DPT, OCS, ART is the founder of SOL, a comprehensive sports injury and performance training facility in Oakland, California. She is the director of Seabright Spine and Sport in Santa Cruz , California. She specializes in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation and has more than 19 years of experience treating musculoskeletal dysfunction. She received her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine, Florida. She is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedics. She is both an Active Release Techniques® provider and an international instructor in this specialty. Dr. Moore pioneered the use of ART by physical therapists and is one of a small number of instructors in this country certified to teach this specialty. She is trained in Pilates rehabilitation methods and is certified in both Graston Method (instrument-assisted) and Sound-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization methods. She completed the year-long Australian manual therapy program in addition to hundreds of postgraduate continuing education hours in the field of manual therapy, sports rehabilitation and wellness.

A seasoned triathlete, Dr. Moore understands firsthand the joy of sports and the pain of sports-related injuries. Over the course of her career she has treated thousands of athletes at all levels of competition. Her clients have included the California Berkeley NCAA Division I men's and women's athletic teams, Stanford women's swim team, the Nike Farm team, USA Olympic Track and Field trials, USA swimming as well as hundreds of athletes competing in the Ironman World Championship Triathlon. Tammara has completed four Ironman distance triathlons, most recently at the 2004 Kona Ironman World Championship. She also ran competitively in college.

While acknowledging the specific needs of each individual, her focus is to restore normal biomechanics. By combining manual therapy techniques and progressive functional rehabilitation, she strives to offer her clients the most effective and quickest return to health available.
